Description
Our Organic Kukicha is a traditional Japanese green tea made of leaves and stems. The infusion is pale yellowy-green with a light fragrance. Kukicha is a wonderful Japanese treat with a mild, vegetal, slightly sweet flavor and a silky, smooth feel. This tea is a perfect companion for Asian food.
The same leaves can be easily re-brewed two or three times. We recommend a short brewing time of 30 seconds for Organic Kukicha. You can increase brewing time but with caution. Often with Japanese green tea over-steeping will bring astringency.
