Description

Organic Green Rooibos — Caffeine Free South African Tea

If you are looking for tea that is rich in antioxidants and contains no caffeine, Rooibos is the best choice.

Health&Tea organic green rooibos is a refreshing South African tea that you can enjoy hot or cold.  Its taste is delicate, refreshing, grassy with natural sweetness.

Rooibos, is an herbal tea that comes from the leaves of the Aspalathus linearis shrub, a plant native to South Africa.  Unlike Red Rooibos, Green rooibos is not oxidized (not exposed to oxygen).  Brewing Green Rooibos gives a delicious light tea packed with antioxidants and caffeine free.

We recommend 5 minutes of brewing time for the first brew.  Steep longer when rebrewing the same leaves.

Rooibos may help boost heart health.

“Confirming its popular use, consumption of fermented, traditional rooibos significantly improved the lipid profile as well as redox status, both relevant to heart disease, in adults at risk for developing cardiovascular disease.”  National Library of Medicine—Effects of rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) on oxidative stress and biochemical parameters in adults at risk for cardiovascular disease
